Judy Cosgrove lives in Los Angeles where she art
directs and designs scenery in the entertainment industry, most recently on hit comedy Cougar Town starring Courtney, now in its 5th season on TBS. Television credits include the prime time drama Medium starring Patricia Arquette and numerous comedies such as The King of Queens, According
to Jim and My Wife and Kids. Film Credits include The
Prince of Tides, True Colors, Boomerang, and The Crow.
She began her career in theatrical productions, commercials
and trade shows in New York City and in regional theater. She received a
BFA in Theater Arts from Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University and
an MFA In Stage Design from Pennsylvania State University.
Judy is a World Builder with the 5D Institute, since5 D's inception as a cross-disciplinary design conference in 2008. She is active
member of the Art Directors Guild and The Academy of Television Arts and
Sciences. Professional Associations include theVirtual Production Committee, Previsualization Society,
The ASC Technology Committee, LA-Siggraph and AIGA Los Angeles. She is a contributor to the ADG quarterly periodical Perspective.
